Due to many years of practical experience in cases, we can provide first-hand international standards, professional technical knowledge, and the best quality of the test. So that customers can enter the market in the shortest possible time.
ENEC
ENEC (European Norms Electrical Certification) is a certification program of CENELEC which is in line with European standards for specific products and uses common European standards (such as lighting equipment, components, and office & data equipment).
ENEC is the high quality European Mark for electrical products that demonstrates compliance with European standards (EN).
In March 2000, the ENEC Mark was allowed to be used by all worldwide manufacturers from the 98CCA meeting held in Yugoslavia.
At first it was only for IT equipment (EN60950-1), but now the ENEC Mark includes:
Information Equipment (EN60950), Transformers (EN60742, EN61558), Lighting Equipment (EN60598) And Luminaires Drive Elements (EN60920, EN61347-2-13), Electrical Switches (EN61058).
About ENEC:
The right side number of the ENEC Mark is to identify different CCA member (different number represents different verifying institution, ex. 10 represents VDE). There are now 21 members and 23 verifying institutions. You can add the mark of verification institutions if manufacturers require. In short, it is required as bellow:
♦ Approved and tested by the members of ENEC, different laboratory can test products with different standards.
♦ Product management of manufacture must comply with ISO9001, ISO9002, or its equivalent standard.
♦ Factory inspection is required.
♦ Selective retests for verified products every two years.
VDE
VDE (Prufstelle Testing and Certification Institute) directly involved in the German national standards. It consists of approximately 30,000 organizations and individual members, which are mainly from the federal government, each state of representatives and the organization of industry research institutions.
Located in Offenbach, Germany, a neutral and independent institute, VDE Testing and Certification Institute, belongs to a research institute of VDE, which was founded in 1920.
This laboratory is the issuing institute of VDE and is also one of the most experienced certification institutes in Europe. The manufacturers conduct testing and certification for electrical products in accordance with German VDE standards, European standards, or IEC standards.
As for electronic electrical safety certification listed, VDE certified products are included in the following areas.
♦ Household And Commercial Electrical Equipment And Systems
♦ Electronic And Electrical Components
♦ Industrial And Medical Electrical Equipment
♦ Lighting (Lighting Fixtures) And Electronic Products
♦ Cables And Insulation Material
♦ Install Equipment And Control Devices
♦ Electronic Components (Electronic Equipment)
♦ Other Products With EMC Requirements
The certification procedure of VDE is product testing and factory inspection should comply with product consistency management program.
KEMA is Netherlands Energy Association test department originally. It became an independent testing facility, which is merged by DEKRA Group now. The main business area is the energy chain, providing testing and certification services.
The Philips headquarter is in the Netherlands, so manufacturers are often required with KEMA certification and the application ENEC05 in the field of lamps.
KEMA certification procedure is for product testing and factory inspection shall comply with product consistency management program.
Nordic
The four Nordic countries, Sweden (SEMKO), Finland (FIMKO), Denmark (DEMKO) and Norway (NEMKO), referred to Nordic certification.
The four countries signed an agreement for approving test results and certifications within each other. In other words, as long as you get the certification in which any one of the four Nordic countries, if you need the other three one, you can obtain the certification easily without testing twice.
Nordic mark can not replace the CE mark, but can stand for quality and safety of the products. Nordic mark not only provides a basis for the CE mark, but also includes an annual inspection of the factory to ensure that the factory production system works well. Nordic mark guaranteed for retailer's brand with safety of the product will not to be compromised.
Four Nordic countries for product safety certification include: industrial equipment, machinery equipment, communications equipment, electrical products, personal protective equipment, household products etc.
The procedure of certification includes product testing and factory inspection, which shall comply with product consistency management. The CIG023 factory inspection report is accepted by the other certification agency for the factory inspection.
Sweden (SEMKO) belongs to Intertek Certification Group, Denmark (DEMKO) belongs to UL Certification Group, and Finland (FIMKO) has authentication protocol from TUV / RH.
Swiss
SEV (Schweizerischer Elektrotechnische VEREIN) is the name of the Swiss national accreditation organizations. According to Low Voltage Directive, the low voltage electrical equipments need to be certified before placing on the Market with S + safety signs.
The mandatory certification equipments include:
♦ Protection Components
♦ Anti-Shock Components
♦ Dangerous Radiation Equipment
♦ Outdoor Equipment
♦ Experimental Equipment
♦ Medical Electrical Equipment
Makeup, Sanitary Ware
♦ Handheld Appliances
♦ Portable Appliances of Liquid-Contacted
♦ Devices for connecting to the public communication network
♦ Civil Defense Equipment
In addition to CB and CE report, EMF test report is also required.
British
BEAB (British Electrotechnical Approvals Board) was established in 1960, is an independent national security accreditation authority with providing secure authentication and other services for household appliances and controllers.
ASTA (The Association of Short-circuit Testing Authorities) was founded in 1938. It provides secure authentication and services for connected electrical devices and components.
ASTA BEAB Certification Services is the biggest verification institution in England composed of BEAB and ASTA.
The procedure of certification includes product testing and factory inspection, which shall comply with product consistency management.
