TISI Approval for Power Bank Announcement

TISI published official statement for the implement of TISI Approval for Power Bank products. TISI Approval will be mandatory for the mentioned products since May of 2020 approximately. The exact date and detailed application procedure will be provided by TISI later.


TISI Consignment/ Batch Approval Announcement

Because of the Coronavirus, Thailand Certification Body TISI adapted an urgent solution for the applications which the factory is not on the TISI Registration List yet but cannot have the factory inspection arranged for now; the customers can export the goods by obtaining the Consignment/ Batch Approval of TISI.


Factory Inspection Schedules Suspended Temporarily Announcement

CU EAC Sample Requirement

In 2018, the CU official in Russia began to audit the EAC certification body which found that many of the certification bodies issued certificates without sampling record or testing results, therefore many laboratories were suspended.


Malaysia SIRIM Approval Implementation

Malaysia KPNDKK has announced in October 2018 that MS IEC 62133:2017 was extended to July 1, 2019.


Notification: MTCTE (TEC) Certificate Requirements Issued

The Department of Revenue issued Customs Notice 450/148/2015-Cus-IV No.35/2018 on January 10, 2018. Importers/exporters must register with the customs website ICEGATE to submit MTCTE (TEC) certificate.

India CRS IS 16046 2018 Standard update Part II

Subject : Guidelines for Implementation of Revised Standards IS 16046(Part 1):2018/IEC 62133-1 : 2017 and IS 16046 (Part 2):2018/IEC 62133-2:2017 superseding IS 16046:2015/IEC 62133:2012-Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes.


STPI Implementation Update

MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) released the notification regarding on STPI update on March 25, 2019.


Notification: Mandatory Certification of Telecom Equipment Extended

India DoT (DEPARTMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS) originally made the announcement on September 27th, 2018 that products with telecommunication function will be mandatory from January 1st, 2019 and April 1st, 2019. On March 12nd DoT has announced for all telecom equipment shall be implemented from August 1st 2019.
