Update on UAE National Conformity Marks and Energy Efficiency Labels
The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) of United Arab Emirates (UAE) has issued the announcement of updating national conformity marks and energy efficiency (EELS) labels through Resolution No. 137 on September 16th, 2024.
The implementation schedule of new marks and labels:
| New products not yet manufactured or imported | Since March 16, 2025 (6 months after the announcement) |
| Existing products in stock | Since September 16, 2025 (1 year after the announcement) |
Instructions of updated ECAS LVE mark are as below:
1. Size: No size requirement. The mark must only adhere to the corresponding proportions.
2. Color: Only the following three color combinations are allowed.
